Turn into the alley, and stop when you almost missed it, Xindi Daily is there waiting for you. Xindi, it means ‘heart’ in Chinese and ‘a subtle sense of comfort’ in Japanese. The owner of this dessert shop is a couple from Hong Kong. They use their hearts to manage this small but unique space, offering sweets such as shaved ice with jiuniang and fragrant honey (summer) and rice flour dumplings with jiuniang (winter).
